Hi, and thanks for stopping by my site.
My name is Carolan Lassiter, and I am an Edmonton based artist who has been making and teaching stained glass and mosaic art here in Edmonton for over 20 years.
I have always been drawn to light and the way it can transform even the simplest object or person into the most beautiful thing.
As a busy Childcare provider for the last 20 years, I find mosaic work a wonderful balance and form of meditation and relaxation.
I have had the good fortune to travel a lot in my lifetime and am always inspired by the different works of art, scenery and things I have seen.
I exhibit and offer for sale my artwork at The St Alberts Farmers Market, The Witchery market, Beltaine Fair, and by custom order.
I also teach classes in Mosaic artwork. Please see my upcoming events page for my class schedule.
Mosaic is an art form dating back more than 5000 years when the Greeks and Egyptians used it to decorate their homes and gardens, temples and other sacred dwellings.
I hope my interpretation of this art form brings you some pleasure when you view it or decide to add one of my pieces to your home or to give as a gift.
Please feel free to leave your comments and to contact me regarding any work, or orders.
